Dear Reseda High School families,
On behalf of the entire Reseda High School community, we are pleased to welcome you to the start the 2017-2018 school year and are looking forward to partnering with you in your child’s education as we prepare them for college and career. Reseda Regents are a dedicated team of administrators, coordinators, advisors, counselors, teachers, staff and students engaged in creative and rigorous collaboration to prepare students for their post secondary plans. We have developed innovative programs, partnerships and varied curriculum to provide your scholars with many choices and to support their development to their highest potential.
Beginning in the 2017-18 school year students are limited to three (3) absences per semester after which a parent conference will be held. Additionally, we are committed to all students meeting A-G requirements (Please meet with your child’s academic counselor for all graduation requirements). Remember, all students enrolled in extracurricular and co-curricular activities such as athletics, band, drill team, dance, drama, leadership, NJROTC, and any other activity not listed, must have a “C” or better in order to participate.
It is important that students strive to excel academically, seek support when needed, and work toward their greatest potential. Please support your scholar by reminding them of the importance of doing their best work academically, having academic integrity, dressing for success, being a good citizen, having excellent attendance, and taking responsibility for their actions; including how they treat others.
We look forward to partnering with you, as your support is invaluable to the success of your students and our school community as a whole.
Very best regards,
